I stayed at this hotel with my dog and paid for a triple room including breakfast at €250 per night. The room, especially with the extra bed by the window, was a bit cramped and the maintenance was poor. The bathroom was visibly dirty and the lift entrance needed attention.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were old, badly maintained, and the space was limited due to the extra bed. There were cleanliness issues like a dirty bathroom rim and peeling paint at the entrance.
Service
7.0
The staff were nice, but they started making noise early and even let a dog bark without warning. However, when approached, they were helpful and friendly.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location was quiet without traffic noise, but the surrounding commercial center was unappealing, especially outside business hours and after dark. However, it was conveniently close to the city center.
Dining
9.0
The dining experience was superb with plenty of choices, beautifully presented dishes, and excellent staff. There was a mega supermarket nearby and it was close to the shopping district.

7.4/10

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a bit disappointing as they were a bit sticky and warm at night, and the staff's help with air-conditioning could have been better. However, the location was great, within walking distance of attractions, and the service was friendly and helpful.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was a bit sticky and warm at night. When I asked the staff about air-conditioning, they weren't all that helpful. I had two bad nights of sleep due to the heat. However, the room was on the 5th floor and recently renovated.
Service
8.0
The service overall was friendly and helpful. Although one receptionist was a bit 'surly,' the others were great and spoke good English.
Location
9.0
The hotel is within comfortable walking distance of many attractions in Bordeaux Centre. The area around it, Mariadeck, is fascinating. It was quiet with no traffic noise, but it could feel a bit intimidating outside business hours and after dark.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was reasonable with a good variety of hot food and bread options served in a cozy room. The breakfast time was at 9:50 am and there were plenty of options besides bordelaise specialties.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel served a variety of options in its modern and cozy dining room. The facilities seemed fine with home-made products available.

I found the hotel to have very spacious and clean rooms, but they were a bit dated. It was conveniently located just opposite the hotel. However, I couldn't change the air conditioning during my stay.

Service

The service provided by the friendly and efficient staff was great. However, they started clearing the food away early at the buffet.
Location

The location, although not very close to the city center, was superb for visiting the old town. However, it was in a rough, unsafe part of town near large tower blocks.
Dining

The dining experience was very good with a good selection of drinks and food, but it was not very exciting.

The hotel offers clean rooms with a great view over Bordeaux, though facing a concrete wall. The service is fantastic, super friendly, and helpful, ideal for visiting all the sights in Bordeaux. The location is very quiet with no traffic noise, close to restaurants and attractions, but might feel a bit isolated after dark. The dining experience is superb with lots of choice and excellent staff. Overall, a value-for-money stay with a few minor drawbacks.

The hotel was a mixed experience for me. The rooms were old and badly maintained, but it was in a quiet location. The dining was superb, though the service was unapologetic and unhelpful at times.
